Halloween

As most can tell, in our house we just love costumes and dressing up! So after long thought and a few fits we have decided to on Storm Trooper from Star wars and the Brave lion! We do have a skunk to fall back on depending on the mood of the littlest Clemens that day.

Harvest time

We attended the Elk Grove Harvest festival last weekend. Our Little Pumpkin Carson just loved picking out pumpkins, he carried them all around the patch. Brady just wanted the perfect, big pumpkin. They both left HAPPY!

Gold Belt

Brady has taken up Karate, and just loves it. We had to turn in a paper before our Gold Belt promotion, and one of the parts was for Brady to fill out about what he likes about Karate.

"I love that my best buddies are in my class." "I really like that the floors are super soft." "I like the names of my teachers."

So sweet. Brady has been doing a great job and earned his Gold Belt on Thursday, we couldn't be prouder.

we're back

I know we haven't blogged in a long while but we are back, mostly because I am off track!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to the best 3 Dads I know!

First Day of School

Brady and Carson both started their new classes at Merryhill School on Tuesday. Brady, my sensitive soul had a great day from the minute he walked into the class. He brought his new teacher flowers and was ready to be the head of the class. Which as many of you know and understand this great transition was a FIRST for Brady. Carson shed a few tears but his awesome teacher scooped him up and had him in good spirits in no time. It also really helped that a bunch of his classmates from the Toddler room moved up with him and his best buddy Braden has also joined the class.

Our Trip to Vegas

After a 9 hour car drive we landed in Vegas happy and tired! We had a wonderful time visiting family and friends. Carson celebrated more birthday fun and Brady fell in love with the dog Patrick Henry all over again. My mom was truly surprised when all of her Fabulous sisters showed up to celebrate her 60th birthday! We took a trip over to the aquarium and just loved the SHARKS! All and all the trip was a great success, however the drive home was more tiring than the drive there!

our garden

We have been enjoying our summer garden! We have had carrots, yellow squash, zucchini, different tomatoes! We are still waiting on the green beans, cantaloupe, a sun flower, and the strawberries!

River Cats

Last weekend we attended the River Cats baseball game! Omi and Grandpa were along for the adventure as well. Everyone had a wonderful time. I don't think I saw one play of the game, so good for me. Brady played in the kids zone and was even give a "REAL" baseball from the opposing team (Las Vegas 51's) warming up! Carson just loved having Omi carry him around the entire game, Omi loved that part too! After a very hot game full of fun we headed home with two sleeping boys!

first hair cut

Carson, about to turn TWO! got his very first hair cut on Thursday! We went to the very kid friendly and very overpriced, Cool Cuts for Kids. Carson sat in a fire truck, watching Nemo, and played shakers! He did a great job, maybe we can do without all of the bells and whistles next time.

Soccer with ATTITUDE

We had our very first soccer game on Saturday. It didn't go exactly as planned. Brady was called in as one of the first players! Once out of the game he did not want to go back in. This shocked us, we are used to Brady's famous comments like..."I was faster than you." "I can kick the best." "I'm better than you." He looked really cute in his soccer jersey!

Carson gets wet

the following clips speak for themselves

Warm weather is here

The Zoo

While Grammie was here we decided to take a family trip to the zoo! Of course all the animals were on their best behavior and our little ones were acting like animals.

Easter

We had a wonderful Easter. The weather was nice and Grammie came to visit. From making a bunny hutch to finding eggs, Easter was all it's cracked up to be!

naughty, naughty, naughty

Our adorable little Carson has a BAD streak. Yesterday when I got home from work I went to sit at the dinning room table and noticed some green marker all over the chair. I quickly got up to examine the rest of the chairs and yes all 6 were covered in green dry erase marker!  I was in such disbelief I didn't snap a photo. Carson fully admitted his wrong doing by walking in the kitchen saying, "oh no." When I ask Carson, "who did this?" he says "I", with the biggest smile you have ever seen. By saying I don't have a picture for evidence, yes it washed right up !

Time OUT!

The other day I was straightening out some "stuff" on the phone and Brady and Carson were busy playing cars. A few minutes into the game I hear the over timer being set and some fake crying from Carson. Apparently Carson was not sharing so Brady put him in time out. The best part is he stayed until the timer beeped then got up saying. "sorry Ma-ma"

Spring has Sprung!

We had some family gardening time today before the storm hit! So far Brady has strawberries, a red pepper, 2 kinds of squash and sweet peas. But the best part of all is the Topsy Turvy! We are growing 2 kinds of tomatoes in it UPSIDE DOWN. Hopefully one of us has a GREEN thumb!

A little Carson time

Carson and I had some great fun this weekend. We did a lot of dancing and playing with trains and cars!

Writing

Brady has taken to writing! He got a new dry erase board and he just loves writing the alphabet and numbers! He getting pretty good! He is even able to sound out some words and write them himself.

New Background

Thanks Kim, I love my new Background! and it was easy I got it right the very first time!

Disneyland!

We had the most amazing time! Brady loved meeting all of the characters and having his photo book signed! Minnie Mouse fell in love with Carson, and after a little warming up, Carson too had a new love! Carson's favorite part of the trip was looking down from our hotel window at the California Grand Adventure Park! Each time he would see the rides go up and down he would scream in delight. From parades to pirates Disneyland was magical! We can't wait to go back when the kids get a little older. Of course if you ask Brady the best part of the trip was swimming in the pool and going down the water slide! Our next family trip will be to a local hotel with a pool!

back in time

For your information these next few posts are a back track in time. I have been falling behind on my Bolgging duties!
have an INCREDIBLE CHRISTMAS!

Christmas decorations

All of the boys helped me decorate this year for Christmas. Brian even turned the tv to the Christmas music channel to get us in the holiday spirit!

Back Track!

Carson and his little friends put on quite the Christmas show! All of the children dressed up and "sang" Jingle bells to us (the parents!) Carson of course would not join the group. He clung to my leg and sung the songs from a far! PS the black mark down his head is one of many head injuries for the month of December!

Christmas 2

We also had a great Christmas in LV!  It was so fun to see our cutie-pie nieces, Grammie and friends too! The week was non-stop from the new puppy to hot tubbn' Brady and Carson had the time of their lives! Oh! and I almost forgot, the first scavenger hunt of many, that our little friend Bamboo lead us on!

Christmas

We had a fabulous Christmas, we actually had two! Santa came to visit us twice!!! Brady woke up on the first Christmas morning to his new Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and was more than excited! His comment was, "I must have been really good because I got just what I wanted!" Santa brought Carson a tricycle, which he enjoyed! The night before Brady had left Santa and Rudolph each a cupcake, and two green beans! (the green beans are the "horns" on his head). We had a wonderful celebration later that Sunday with the Clemens. It was so fabulous to see our little nieces, Uncle Kev Aunt Jen and Omi and Gpa' too!

Oh Boy Oh Boy
